Trollbead Love Story – Episode 5...
This is Part 5 of a Trollbead Love Story. If
you recently joined us, please read Part 1,
2, 3 and 4 to catch up.
 In January Tim sent Michele
Coral Bubbles, a beautiful rich colored orange-ie bead. Trollbeads meaning for
the bead is: "Traded on the fabled caravan routes, a rare treasure from faraway
oceans, known as a valuable commodity in the desert." Again, a friend of
Michele's came to pick it up and it was delivered later that night.
 A week before Valentines
Day, I was waiting on a customer when in walks a gentlemen in a Coast Guard
uniform, (looking very handsome I might add!!). He headed straight to the
Trollbead table. I walked over and said meekly "Are you Tim?" It was!! He's
back!! A little bit early from his duty overseas, but back safe and sound
nonetheless!! For the February bead, he chose Big Hearts: "Four hearts close
together. Hearts of fire, hearts for Valentines day, hearts for the one you
hold dear."
We chatted for a
bit: he was full of "thank-yous" and I was full of "thank-yous for sharing your
story". He said they are starting their daughter with a bracelet.
Most
of us are so removed from the reality of what a military family really goes
through, but we all worried when we didn't hear from him, and was elated when
we did.
Thank-you Tim
and Michele for sharing your story and I hope your bracelet bring you fond
memories forever.

High School June 12th 2009.
